2025 Annual Report
Dear incredible member of our Unicorn tribe,
2025 was quite a year wasnโt it? The 2026 year of the fire horse has taken off with force, but take a breath with me in reflection of the past year โฆ.
Letโs appreciate:
๐ง The tears that made us humble and human
โค๏ธโ๐ฉน The times we got back up
๐ The joys that gave us belly laughs
๐ The love created by the tribes around us
๐ The moments that made our heart beat faster
๐ฆ Where we are, right now
Life flows through paradoxes. No ups without downs. Itโs been 3 years and 7 months since the path forked with my late wife Janice. In 2025, I had a health situation that made me re-evaluate life (again), understand cancer deeper, and step outside my comfort zone. And so I leaned into self-care and new joys revealed themselves - from summiting Mt Yushan in Taiwan, to flying a plane, to midnight Tokyo racing in the legendary Supra MK4, to fitness & mindfulness, to new circles of family & friendships, and deeper connections. Many MBC thrivers/patients urged me to take care of myself over the years. Those of us who have been or are caregivers often put ourselves last and forget this. Well, I finally did.
Those were incredible moments, but part of my core remains steadfast - a purpose to lift the quality of life (QoL) for those like Janice, those with Metastatic Breast Cancer. Iโm so proud of the work our team has done this past year.
